xyG/L is a complete on-line, interactive reformatting system that allows clients who utilize xyberNET's XYCOR Systems to identify the format of the transactions they want incorporated into their general ledger system - regardless of which general ledger package they use!

  • Define data to be extracted

  • Define records to be interfaced

  • Identify when you want the data to be interfaced

  • Data extraction form the various input files

  • Summarization and printing of extracted information

  • Building the general ledger interface file
     

Processing Flexibility

xyG/L enables you to customize the interface file to your specific needs. Some clients summarize data at the producer level while some choose to summarize it at the state or coverage level. xyG/L enables to you map out the details of your interface requirements.

Extensive Batch Processing

The xyG/L batch programs read the online entries to create an extract file. Another set of batch programs utilizes the extract file to create an interface file that is passed to your general ledger system. This interface file contains the actual transactions that are read into your general ledger system, formatted based on the on-line entries you set up.

Comprehensive Reporting

xyG/L includes control reports for balancing, set up reports for debugging set up problems and a file of general ledger data elements available for ad hoc reporting.
 

System Integration

xyG/L extracts data from xyCredit, xyCredit reinsurance, xyAdmin, xyClaim and various daily and monthly files.
