While we are excited about the small signs of recovery on the economic front, most of the companies we talk with are still planning for a long road to full recovery.  XyberNET is not sitting idle during this time of recovery.  We are working hard on planning our annual disaster recovery / business continuity testing (scheduled for Sept 12) and planning our upgrade to a newer and faster CPU.   As we continue to  work to expand our products and services, we never lose sight of what our clients need.  We are continually looking for ways to assist you in your overall needs on all platforms and fronts. Read on to learn about our new xyStor service that enables you to sleep well knowing that your data is completely and conveniently backed up, quickly available to be restored should you encounter a disaster.  You can never be too secure in today’s world. 

 

In this issue you will also read about our successful annual conference that was held in San Diego in June, a good time was had by all as we shared information and learned about new opportunities.

Look what is new...

Release 6.02 is Coming!

Well, the results are in… according to the clients that attended, this year’s annual Xycor User Conference was again a great success.  The venue was wonderful…the Bristol Hotel in beautiful downtown San Diego was everything we could have hoped for, it even had a retractable roof that opened to allow the afternoon sun in to brighten our sessions!  Networking was one of the main events of the conference, with both peers and subject experts sharing ideas and collaborating on possible solutions to our business challenges.  A conference like ours couldn’t exist without the ongoing support and specific efforts of those of you that volunteer your time to  present the sessions.  XyberNET is indebted to your generosity and willingness to share with your peers.  Thank you all.

This will be remembered as a landmark year for computer operating systems. In 2009, Apple's new Snow Leopard system is slated to debut and Microsoft's Windows 7 will soon be available too.

New Operating Systems

The Strategic Advisory Board meeting at the annual Xycor User Conference was a big success.  We discussed the current status of our new SQL 2005 Datarray products, which are done and ready for installation.  We have    already begun the next step in the ever ongoing upgrade process... we are actively working on the conversion to SQL 2008, which should be a breeze now that we are on 2005.

Release 6.02 will be coming out in October and we thought we would take this opportunity to tell our clients about some of the great  features available with this new release of the systems.

 

Through a combination of User Group Enhancements (UGE), client-sponsored modifications, and a large Regulatory update sponsored by XyberNET, the new Release provides many features that will enhance productivity, further secure data and provide additional functionality to our client base.
