How did we get to 2010 already? It seems like just a short time ago we were all preparing for the coming of the new millennium, with so many people convinced our entire environment was about to fall apart as we said goodbye to 1999 and woke to a brand new day. Was that really ten years ago? Well, we are now through the first decade of the new millennium and much has happened in this past ten years. Globally the world is a very different place than the one we lived in when we ushered in the year 2000, with new challenges to be addressed at every turn. But just as things are bound to change, some things remain the same. XyberNET was, in 1999 and still is a leading provider of software and services to the financial services market, with the majority of all debt protection and credit insurance being processed on our Xycor Systems. We continue to build our suite of products and expand our ability to help you meet your needs. In this past ten years, the world has seen several new technical advancements, some that really hit the mark and some that left us wanting. Coupled with the economic downturn in jobs and real estate, it has been an interesting time in history. Here at XyberNET we have spent the last several years undergoing many advancements and transformations, with new client relationships and new services and products to offer. We are continually talking with our clients and monitoring the markets to ensure we stay ahead of the curve with great products and services. Thanks to all of you and the hard work, expertise and dedication of XyberNET’s great staff we are moving forward in spite of the economic difficulties presented to all of us. Getting this decade off to a great start, I am thrilled to welcome American Modern Insurance Group to the list of great companies that utilize the Xycor Systems and Datarray. Through this new relationship with American Modern the functionality of the Xycor Systems will be expanded to process additional P&C products. Looking forward, XyberNET’s 2010 Annual Conference is scheduled for June 6-8, to be held in beautiful San Diego, California. Mark your calendars as this should be a great gathering and sharing of information. Finally, I’d like to thank you all for giving us the continued opportunity to support you as you build your future. Get a load of that page!! XyberNET is very excited about our eSolutions product and from looking at the Payments page it is easy to see why. As we developed eSolutions we looked to see how we could improve and simplify processes along with providing additional functionality at every turn. The Payments page has the usual drop down selection options and dates may be entered with a calendar tool. The page also allows for the updating of addresses right on the Payment page and has a special ‘calculator’ feature for the monthly benefit coverages. The bottom of the page displays over a dozen data elements, relevant for the type of coverage being processed. |

Did you know that the xyClaim Life Claim Settlement Interest Mod is included in Release 6.02? This Regulatory modification enables XyberNET clients to set up all of the variables involved in the various state of interest regs so the system can calculate the Settlement Interest. This includes options such as date-ranged interest rates, paying interest only when the benefit is over a certain dollar amount, etc. Interest may be calculated a variety of ways, beginning from various points in time and based on multiple dates. Client-defined text messages are enabled and the data used in the payment calculation is carried down into Datarray for easy access during those pesky state audits and market conduct exams. |
